Hands of Grace and Mercy’s Mission and Appeal
Hands of Grace and Mercy’s goal is to establish a learning center in the area, which will benefit not only Pipie but also the neighboring villages. Specifically, this learning center will house a library, a computer lab, a tailor shop, and a hairdressing salon.
In addition, there is a building that will serve as a clinic, and we will also be setting up a store offering food, household, and retail items. Furthermore, we plan to bless residents with gifts such as clothes, health products, shoes, and toys, among others.
To make this dream a reality, Hands of Grace and Mercy is seeking donations and community support. We kindly ask for contributions in the following forms:
- Care packages – including rags, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, lotion, shampoo, etc.
- Over-the-counter medication – such as ointments for cuts and bruises, Tylenol, Benadryl, children’s and adult vitamins, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, diabetic check kits, and blood pressure machines.
- Sewing kits – including needles, thread, scissors, pins, measuring tape, and any items related to dressmaking or tailoring.
- Back-to-school supplies – such as books, pens, pencils, book bags, pencil cases, sharpeners, markers, glue, folders, and filler paper.
- Hairdressing/Barber supplies – such as clippers, aprons, combs, hair products, hairpins, shampoo, conditioner, wall pictures, chairs, wash basins, and dryers.
- Food items (non-perishable) – including canned tomatoes, rice, oil, peanut butter, mac & cheese, ramen noodles, sugar, flour, mixed vegetables, mixed fruits, evaporated milk, tuna, and sardines.
- Technology for the computer lab – including working computers, laptops, and universal modems.
- Books for the library – both fiction and non-fiction, as well as educational materials.
Additionally, we accept new and gently used clothes and shoes.
